Luxury Honeymoon Destinations

Top 5 Luxury Honeymoon Destinations

A honeymoon is most likely the most significant holiday a couple will take. After months of wedding planning a new married couple looks forward to a relaxing and stress free holiday.

There are so many beautiful and luxurious destination to choose so here are my top five!

Antigua

Antigua is the largest of the English-speaking Leeward Islands lying between the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. It encompasses 108 square miles of beautiful coastline. Antigua is one of the top Caribbean holiday and vacation destinations with 365 white sand beaches, and a wide array of activities and entertainment. The total island population is about 85,000

Temperatures generally range from the mid-seventies in the winter to the mid-eighties in the summer. Annual rainfall averages only 45 inches, making it the sunniest of the Eastern Caribbean Islands, and the northeast trade winds are nearly constant, flagging only in September. Low humidity year-round.

Sandy White Beaches

Barbados

Imagine awakening to the warm caress of the Caribbean sun. Palms whisper and coves beckon. Languid sands stretch out before you. And a breeze embraced by turquoise waters gently cools you.

This is your wake up call, inviting you live out your daydreams.
And begin your most important beginning, in Paradise.Barbados is an island of song, dancing to the rhythms of the Caribbean and resting in the tranquil music of the wind and waves, serenading lovers in their hideaways. The natural beauty of the island beckons all seeking a romantic escape! Here you can get married on a boat, in a church, in an elegant plantation home, under the cool shade of a flamboyant tree, by sea cliffs or soft sand beaches.

Dubai

Dubai is one of the few cities in the world that has undergone such a rapid transformation - from a humble beginning as a pearl-diving centre - to one of the fastest growing cities on earth. Dubai today is a tourism, trade and logistics hub and has earned itself the reputation of being the ‘gateway between the east and the west.’ It is also considered as the dynamic nucleus of the Arabian Gulf region.

‘A hundred and one things to do’ could indeed be an apt expression when you are in Dubai! This incredible city offers myriad things to do for all types of travellers. You could be discovering wrecks in the ocean, seeing the world’s tallest tower, attending a diva’s concert, trying your skills at belly and salsa dancing, or going to the theater, feasting on an mouth-watering Arabic buffet in the desert, swimming with the dolphins, belly and salsa dancing, dinner cruise on an Arabian dhow, dune bashing, exploring heritage sites, shopping, setting up a business, or even skiing – yes, in the desert! – are just some of the things you can do in Dubai.

Hawaii

When it comes to honeymoons the American island chain in the Pacific Ocean, Hawaii, is one of the best destinations around. The weather in Hawaii is the same all year round, 25 to 30 degrees Celcius, so it is perfect for winter sun. Yet it doesn't get unbearably hot and sticky in the summer thanks to the cooling island breeze. So whether it is a first or second honeymoon or you are getting married in winter or summer, the Hawaiian islands surrounded by warm waters and golden beaches are the perfect honeymoon destination.

Oahu is the most popular of the islands. This is where you will find the capital, Honolulu, and get to see the world famous Waikiki Beach. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, night clubs and late night entertainment venues in this area as well as some great shopping in the Ala Moana Shopping Centre.

Dominican Republic

In the heart of the Caribbean, washed by the waters of the Atlantic Ocean to the north and the impetuous Caribbean Sea in the south, nestles a placid and beautiful country officially called The Dominican Republic.

The Dominican Republic lies in the northern Caribbean and is famous for its breathtaking beaches studded with coconut palms and sands ranging from pearl white to golden brown and volcanic black. The Dominican Republic is a true paradise island that provides more than a laid back holiday and beautiful beaches, it offers magnificent waterfalls and rivers, alpine landscapes and tropical rainforests and is home to the warmest-hearted people of the Caribbean. All these make this island perfect to spend your honeymoons or luxury holidays.
